Contemporary Figurative

I am the U.S. Art Director and General Counsel for LuminArte Gallery in Dallas, Texas (www.luminarte.com).  My position affords me the opportunity to curate cool exhibitions, do minimal legal work and drink a little wine along the way. Most importantly, it allows me ample time to pursue my true passion as a contemporary figurative and abstract artist.  I enjoy painting, creating installation pieces and writing novels.  I have published four books containing images of my art including two novels. I have been painting for many years but only began publicly exhibiting the latter part of 2008 due to my earlier legal career.  My formal education includes a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin and Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University.  I currently reside in Dallas, Texas in a mid-century ranch style home affectionately known as the "Atomic Ranch".
