After practicing law for many years, I now have ample time to pursue my true passion as a contemporary figurative and abstract artist. I enjoy painting, creating installation pieces, experimental art videos, writing novels and drinking wine. In fact, I received my Wine Sommelier certification in August of 2014. My film, "The Soul of Vinyl; Abbey Road Side 2. was screened at the 2016 New York Independent Film Festival. In addition, my film, "The Case of the Deranged Sommelier" won best Experimental Short at the 2016 Director Circle of Festival Shorts and film, "Still Mad as Hell" was selected for the 2017 New York Independent Film Festival. I have published four books containing images of my art including a two novels. My latest novel, "Punitive Damages" won the 2016 Merrimack Media Best Writer Award. While I have been painting for many years, I only began publicly exhibiting the latter part of 2008 due to my earlier legal career. My formal education includes a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin and Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University. I currently reside in Dallas. Beginning March 2017, I became Artist and Curator at Martsolf Lively Contemporary.
